Hi, I just downloaded Open Office & want to use it for spread sheets. I've used Super Calc in its various forms & a little experience w/ MicroSoft's excel. Lately I've been using Google's on line spread sheet & I'm fairly happy w/ it but don't like the fact it is online only & a couple other minor issues. So I'm switching to OpenOffice but in my first effort, have the following problem. I want to track income & to that end, my current spreadsheet allows me to designate the first line as a label line that delineates what the column is for. First column is for the same purpose. Those two label cells are NOT part of the spreadsheet, thus cell A1 is the first cell of the spreadsheet & not part of the labeling cells.
I can't seem to find the instructions to accomplish this task in the OpenOffice spreadsheet. Can anyone give me instructions on how to do this simple task? -- *********** Brenda in West Park, FL 204 sleeps til Christmas of 2009 Help the critters & get great bargains. http://a1k9koach.blujay.com/
