manual that explains where all the features and controls are, tells
about all the great features that it has that MS Office lacks, and

Have you looked at http://documentation.openoffice.org/? Pick your
manual.
I stick to what I said, the manual should be in the DOWNLOAD package,
you should not have to go back and search for one, and then have to
decide which is the one you need.
