I guess Rene can give the whole picture > here. "everytime" might be an exaggeration, as well as the "unilaterally" (we agreed some time ago in the release meeting to allow updates of the dictionaries after feature freeze) and it is also well known, that the people doing most make the most mistakes ;-) but I don't want to continue the dispute about this point, I take this point as taken. But I want to emphasize that the contributions of Rene almost always were of high value for the project and especially for the Oracle representatives in the release team. We learned a lot although it was from time to time difficult to get his points at he first glance. And finally, after the "gstreamer case" we followed his advice to do our (commercial) release on a own branch. So finally no more conflicts of interests in this area any more, this will avoid these kind of discussions in the future.
