>How is 'Worst' to be measured?
Sorry, I wasn't clear; I'm not looking to discuss the topic, but merely to locate this study, or even get some new ideas of where to search for it. I don't believe the study was specific to programmers, although that is the context of my interest in it. I believe it offered data to suggest that teams were more productive if they kept the perceived worst performer than if they weeded that person out. I've searched via Google and Harvard Business Review extensively with no luck, and am hoping someone on this list read or heard about that study and can give me a clue of where to track it down.
