Ron, >of my interest in it. I believe it offered data >to suggest that teams were more productive >if they kept the perceived worst performer >than if they weeded that person out.
There is always a perceived worst performer, unless the team is reduced to one person. Even a team of star performers don't all glow with the same brightness. If somebody is not up to the job then they need to be removed. I think your second hand reference is fundamentally wrong. Keeping somebody who is pulling the team down makes no sense. Review extensively with no luck, and am hoping >someone on this list read or heard about that >study and can give me a clue of where to >track it down. I would rethink what it is that you think you heard somebody tell you. derek -- Derek M Jones tel: +44 (0) 1252 520 667 Knowledge Software Ltd mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Applications Standards Conformance Testing http://www.knosof.co.uk - Automatic footer for [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] unsubscribe discuss To join the announcements list, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] subscribe announce To receive a help file, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] help This list is archived at http://www.mail-archive.com/discuss%40ppig.org/ If you have any problems or questions, please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
