Just plug 'em in. Go to the website, create an account and follow the
setup wizard. They'll download their settings and be off and running.

For a larger install, we usually do something like this:

+ plug one into a cat-5 internet connection (with dhcp, NAT ok)
+ plug the others into power
+ leave them for an hour to get any firmware updates needed
+ go to the website and create a new location, e.g. "Camp Fun"
+ create a 2nd location "Camp Fun Stock on hand"
+ use the 'import order' to move all your merakis into stock on hand
+ make a labels according to where you expect to place them
+ grab a meraki, put a label on it
+ on the website, move that meraki, based on MAC, out of stock on hand
into "Camp Fun" and position it on the map
+ repeat previous two steps
+ we usually put all the merakis in a big box at this point and take
that to the install site
+ skip the stock-on-hand step if you have exactly the number you want

Hope this helps!

cheers, michael
