Thanks for the help so far, I may use a similar rollout method if i  
get some business setting up wireless at any events.

couple more questions:

what is the latest firmware, and how do i know i'm running it?

can/how is nat disabled so I can use another captive portal/DHCP/ 
bandwidth shaping daemon on another box?
