The problem i think is the antenna, You can use a sectorial (60 or 120 degrees)
antenna 10 or 15dbi, with the client device on bridge mode, you can set the WAN
on DHCP. i use a client device (Demarc 10dbi) and it is working fine.

It's within about a mile (with good line of site) of
the location that will provide the Internet link.
I thought I could use two of these devices (with yagi
or dish antennas).

It's not working out so well. When I have both devices
in bridge mode they do not associate.
Then I set up one as an access point with the other as
a client bridge, associated with the AP. I plugged a
computer into the same hub as the bridge and the
bridge does not forward packets across the wireless
link.
Am I out to lunch on how to use wireless to bridge
these two sites?
