TWIMC @ SH If the leased racks and loaned racks have to go, I will donate money (up to $100 for new materials) and time to build at least one 8ft x 8ft x 2ft plywood shelving unit, with a solid panel back, on 6 heavy-duty wheels.
I have built this kind of storage unit for my own workshop and have a list of materials and tools required to build one. It takes one person an entire Saturday afternoon, assuming there are a few cheeseburgers and some hot coffee available, to complete each unit. Four or six units would be enough to partition the space and provide flexible storage for tools, equipment, and member projects.
