That sounds like a fun idea Craig. So do you envision some sort of Hack-a-thon? Should there be any guidance as to the subject of the projects, like 'make some green energy device/source' or 'create something that helps your community'. I'd be down for helping in the planning and background of this project. I might not be able to commit to the actual day but let's see where things lead.
Omar: I think you misinterpreted the source of the drama. Not from deciding how to spend the grant but rather from how people try to further the idea and community of SynHak and whether or not their actions and ideas mesh with everyone else's.
