Richard, the cfdynamics db is nice, I think that the biggest issue with is that the United States Postal Service (USPS) database has more recent data and they do not. Try http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp using a known address but leave off the ZIP. Notice that their example is using JSP and not CFM.   The USPS has finally responded with the answer that I was seeking in regards to the original tracking.dll being the dll that I need for XML response and request. So now I just have to start coding for CFM based on their technical guide. I hope this makes more sense.
