You'll have to get a copy of James Ward's book when its out of course :) Honestly, I found the online docs at Adobe to be fine http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flex/ So, I don't have any real recommendations.
Other than that books like ActionScript Cook book or ActionScript 3 with Design Patterns serve the more specialized topics. Oh, there is a Flex for Dummies out now too written by that bedazzlin man Doug McCune and super Deepa. And there's a large Wiley book in the works currently too. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/105-4233186-0778026?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=adobe+flex&x=0&y=0 Amazons list.
