dates, dates, dates...oh joy!  Flash automatically adds TZ info to all new 
Dates, including the ones coming in from server.  You can play the massage the 
date game for incoming and outgoing dates since you know the TZ offest.  
Another way, just deliver strings. :) 

odd to hear about the Blaze and Hibernate issues, our backend folks have used 
that and Spring even with Blaze.
