Okay... We have somewhat solved our font issue while using RSL's.
Turns out to be pretty simple. We have added:
Font.registerFont(ourFont);
And that seems to have taken care of most of our issues. There is still
some funkiness around our founds and occasionally the fonts will change to a
size of about -3 from what they are so we are not out of the water yet.
But, if we ever have the developer who created the AdvancedDataGrid talk at
one of our meetings, please give plenty of notice so that I can stock up on
the perfect throwing sized tomatoes.

wow, that's the least colorful language I've heard about ADG in a while!
You should hear what some of my co-workers say about it. :)
So, I've never seen this issue myself, in fact I avoid ADG component like
the plague, like a BK sandwich even. I do see this bug
http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-17155
Its supposedly fixed, but maybe it is affecting you there? Or maybe a bad
swz?
