What's vital for our lib is to be usable by GPL and LGPL software,
the rest is
optional, but still a plus.
I wouldn't call supporting proprietary software a "plus".
To me, it isn't.
So I'd like to convince you to stay with the GPL.
Here, by "the rest", I meant BSD-licensed software and other free
software. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
