I originally posted on devinfo about the governance issues starting in http://lists.contribs.org/pipermail/devinfo/2009-April/010084.html (Charlie and others had raised the same issues in earlier posts). I used devinfo because the discussion list had not been active since January 2008, and I wanted to reach the widest audience of people who were *really* interested in contributing to SME Server. However, devinfo is really for development discussions, and I propose, with the agreement of the community at large, to move the discussion over to the "discussion" list. If you are not signed up for that list, or other lists, you can sign up at http://lists.contribs.org/mailman/listinfo/ . I will be cross-posting over there if I respond to anyone posting on devinfo, and hopefully will stop using devinfo for this discussion shortly.
