I assume the bugzilla route will be chosen in the spirit of 'community effort', regardless of 1 personal preference in this WHOLE, 4000+ persons, contribs.org community? IRC with archived logs would be a good alternative, but that idea was killed a long time ago. By who and with what authority? I know, I don't know... Again, it seems that we do not have open and archived discussions where new developers can take a peek before making a decision on putting in efforts. All that remains is the lists.contribs.org archives, that are virtually empty and useless to a potential new developer. contribs.org needs to welcome new users, developers and others who are interested. Right now, we have been scaring them away, BIG TIME! -HF
