I don't think most realise just how many hours Ian put in, we owe him a lot.

I like your suggestion Ray re forums etc, the good thing now is that I
DO have the time etc to try and keep on top of this small area of the
admin work, I couldn't pen a line of code to save my life.

Currently I have done the couple of updates and Security stuff by hand
as in copy paste bits and write up a set of release notes by hand, ML
and forum. No biggy I have the time.

The thing I was wondering about is the single update that is promulgated
as the result of a bug fix, much like what is about to happen with Bugs
8716 and 8707.

I was leaning towards the forums as a more important place for these
type of updates..but..I do see where you and others are coming from..

So be it..ML in detail, forums short note with link to ML..
