Hi, Affa : https://wiki.contribs.org/Affa
It's easy to set up, has good documentation and is completely automatic. It has a sensible default retention policy that you can customise. You can monitor it with Nagios or similar. I back up in the office to a NAS, and I use the vanilla (non SME) version http://wiki.nikoforge.org/Main_Page on a cheap dedicated server in the cloud to back up my office server and several websites on different VPS's. I have also recently been using Veeam (not open source) Which works well for Windows boxes and allows you to restore from bare metal.
