It's easy to set up, has good documentation and is completely automatic. It
has a sensible default retention policy that you can customise. You can
monitor it with Nagios or similar.

I back up in the office to a NAS, and I use the vanilla (non SME) version
http://wiki.nikoforge.org/Main_Page on a cheap dedicated server in the
cloud to back up my office server and several websites on different VPS's.

I have also recently been using Veeam (not open source) Which works well
for Windows boxes and allows you to restore from bare metal.
