- Keep it simple, stupid, especially with regard to having to maintain
more kernel drivers and user-space hardware tools (a usb host port
might open pandora's box).
It actually DOES!
And avoiding it opens a dead-end-road, for sure.
i for one could have sold a hand full, if it allowed an external
keyboard, more so a mouse, and a WiFi-dongle. Yep, it will drain the
poor little battery like hell, that's why it needs the possibility of an
external supply, so that we can still use it as nanonote like what we
have been doing throughout, including myself with a lot of enjoyment,
like writing texts on a bumpy Malaysian bus, PLUS being able to do
something useful with it, once external power is available (and if only
from a big-brother-laptop-USB).
