Hello, In my opinion the most important thing is bigger RAM - in some cases I need to enable swap (when using Octave, NanoMap, gcc). I think that 64MB should be just OK and 128MB would be great.
An internal GPS would be awesome (actualy I still keep my Nokia 770 linux tablet and a external GPS only because the NanoNote has no GPS). It might allow to use the Ben as a location-aware off-line Wikipedia reader, for example (but bigger RAM is necessary for this). There are other things that might be usefull: better screen (more sunlight-readable and/or slightly bigger) or some kind of video output port (for presentations - but USB host + USB video card can provide similar functionality). But these things might introduce new problems, I think. Anyway there still are some things to improve with the current NNs: - screen backlight intensity control (is it possible?) - usb disk mode - some kind of reliably working suspend mode jirka On Wed, 26 Jan 2011 12:02:12 +0100, David Kuehling <[email protected]> wrote: > Allow me to throw in yet another (highly subjective) opinion? > > - Keep it simple, stupid, especially with regard to having to maintain > > [..] > > That said, I don't currently feel that the hardware of the NN is > imposing limits on what I can use it for. _______________________________________________ Qi Hardware Discussion List Mail to list (members only): [email protected] Subscribe or Unsubscribe: http://lists.en.qi-hardware.com/mailman/listinfo/discussion
