Oh, just so others would know, to install missing dependencies of MPlayer
you should do:
opkg update && opkg install libaa giflib fribidi libtheora

Maybe you meant that there is no automount at startup? My uSD card is
detected and mounted at startup just fine. I have commands:
/sbin/swapon /dev/mmcblk0p2 and /bin/mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /card is my
startup script, and it's working just fine!

suggest so save space by removing some of them (elinks and links are
very
similar but lynx is more capable, I thing).
The rest works as expected and the progress in the development is
great.
