When I use the Lingot icon, instead of text, the GUI renders squares
after about 10 mins for me. Running it from a terminal will get it
running the way it used to, but it is still broken. I changed the sound
input from ALSA to OSS (jack is not on the Ben, not likely to be either)
but nothing. I think it is just not reading the mic for some reason. It
is hearing like 20hz sounds which are not being made. From the fact that
GTKguitune reads the mic input and runs relatively OK, I think this is a
feasible program that could work in time.
