Have a closer look at the Received headers
Your mail client sorts messages based on the time they were originally
sent, this can be deceptive if the message was stuck in a censorship
queue and then released after a long delay.
The Received headers show the time the message passed through each mail
gateway. If one of the mail gateways has a censorship regime, the
Received header for that hop may have a much later timestamp. However,
when the message eventually arrives, you only see the original time when
it was sent. Another one of the hidden perils of censorship.
