Surely you understand the need for early registation to allow the
organizers to estimate both their revenue and expenses? which is not
to say everyone should register early - usually there's also regular
and late registration. However there's no doubt that from the POV of
the organizers, early registration is the most useful.

Why not propose something and thus affect the direction it will take?
