Buy a PC and install Windows on it. Most of the time Windows comes pre-installed. Internet Explorer is also installed by default. It's so simple! Adopt the solution from A. 2. Use the PC of a friend which runs Windows and IE and whose user is admin. > > Attempt to renew my driving license online have also failed: > http://ecom.gov.il/Mot/homepage_he.aspx seems to work only in IE based > browsers (it complained that I need to choose the type of renewal I > wish to do, no matter what type I chose). No silly software here at > least. This is what happens if you use a "non-standard" browser. There is a "standard" browser and it is called Internet Explorer. There is a "standard" operating system and it is called Windows. Use a "non-standard" configuration and you're on your own. As the goverment rightfully teaches you, being on you own won't get you too far. > > Regards, > Shachar Emil > _______________________________________________ > Discussions mailing list > [email protected] > http://hamakor.org.il/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discussions > PS. Sorry for the sarcasm, but I just felt the need... But try to understand that this is how goverment/bureaucracy is working and it's very hard to persuade them to be different. I personally DO NOT believe I can, or more exactly DO believe I CANNOT. _______________________________________________ Discussions mailing list [email protected] http://hamakor.org.il/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discussions
