I have the same dead display from the same cause. The SB can be configured (network, etc) using the Net:UDP program. It's command line and you need to be able to run PERL, but it works and I recovered mine. Now works fine with wired network, fixed IP, and controlled by Squeezeplay, OrangeSqueeze, or from LMS.
