You are right. This might be a problem with some encoders with fine resolution. But the rotary encoder I am using has not so many steps. So my thought was that turning one step right is one track forward. Or to be safe maybe it is possible to restrict the track skipping to one track even when the encoder is turned by more steps? Actually I am already using the encoder for track skipping. I am simply using the NEXT command for buttons. It just skips one track when I am turning the encoder one step to the right. It is just not working when I also use the command PREV for turning the encoder to the left direction. Then the result is random. Sometimes it skips a track and some times it is playing the previous.
