Improving on something doesn't always fall under this saying. While it
gives good advice in many cases, you don't see many corporate
presentations that use an overhead projector anymore. They generally use
a projector driven by a computer. If it can be improved on, fine-- just
don't overdo it. I hardly think that making a switch to a modern RCS
would qualify on your over-used snarky catchphrase.
