There are no "intuitive" or "right" names, really ("django-core" wouldn't work because this list is for more people than just the "core" team, for example -- nothing short of "developers-who-work-on-and-contribute-to-Django's-codebase-and-not-just-people-who-use-Django-because-those-people-belong-on-the-other-list" would work).
