With the utmost respect, I must rebuke Paul's claim that this discussion is misplaced on the dev list. We all have a stake in this legislation. All free software projects have a stake in this legislation. I urge those unfamiliar with H.R. 3261 to google for the Cole's Notes. This legislation effects the removal of judicial oversight from the process of "incarceration" of an electronic entity. This isn't about politics at all. User contributed content is about to become a liability...
