heh... normally... dj's wanna play what the crowd wants to hear.... u never
really know what kinda crowd the party is gonna attract... always a good
idea to have a lot of records, but most important... most djs dont plan
their sets and only bring what they need... its always the spur of the
moment for what u should be playing..

This is probably an odd question...but im gonna start spinning
professionally soon and have always been curious...A 1 hour set is about
8-13 tracks long...so why do DJ's always carry a case with 50+ records in
it
to a gig? I know one might need a few extra just in case the crowd is
getting pumped (or isnt pumpin enough..god forbid ;))and you wanna change
up
your mix a bit...but why the 35+ extra??? Anyway, I dont mean to waist
your
time with a stupid question like this, but i dont wanna walk into work with
20 records and not be taken seriously..Once again, thanks for the time it
took you to read this.
