I used the ports system and frankly have no idea it the -g flag was passed or whatever. But I was wondering if there is a way to check that? I can see the following lines in the port's Makefile: .if defined(WITH_DEBUG) SITE_SUB+= -e '\|confOPTIMIZE.*-g|s/^dnl //g' .endif Does this mean it was compiled with the -g flag?
