2 instances, both signing only, on FreeBSD 6.0, running for about a

9440  3780
9440  3548

Before the server was restarted, the two instances had been running for 
much longer and never used enough memory for me to notice.

It's not normal here. I never noticed any high memory usage on older 
versions of FreeBSD either.

That doesn't mean it's not normal on Linux or with verifying as well as 
signing though.
