Yes, exactly. I have to say I'm dismayed that many people have learned nothing from the past decade of arguments about SPF -all and DKIM ADSP and imagine that the mail world will change the ways it works to conform to the limitations of DMARC, despite the fact that the last umpteen times anyone made that demand, the mail world ignored it. DMARC can be quite useful, but it will be a lot more useful if people use it in ways that are compatible with all the existing mail software and stop imagining that it's up to the rest of the world to change.
