Well I just did it one step at a time :). First "p=none", then "p=reject sp=none" and finally "p=reject". I guess I could have done it straight from p=none to reject.

visible to you in aggregate DMARC reports within days of publishing a
p=none record for the parent domain, long before you reached the
point where you could safely switch to p=reject?
