Having a requirement that specific information be made available to the
UI is one thing.

Having a requirement that anything be presented to users is quite
another.  For the latter, relevant empirical justification is required.
 Absent that, it's just guesswork about utility -- or worse, runs
counter to what is known -- and that has no place in a formal standard.
