Um, dude, she was claiming there was operational experience, upon which DKIM was based. I don't recall IIM having operational experience, but DomainKeys had gone through two rounds of field deployment. So, arguably, she was being kind about IIM.
The issue isn't what was in your head but what was in the field experience of the industry.
