Not a native speaker, so the it/its distinction might well be. It looked
wrong, but that's not always a good indicator when grammar is involved.

An alternative approach might be to rewrite the sentence to avoid the
exotic grammar:

| Experience has shown that most such messages are abusive
| and/or unwanted by their recipients, and given this fact,
| a Mail Receiver may make a negative disposition decision
| for the message prior to and instead of applying DMARC
| processing to it.


Also, my "DNSSEC" addition at the second mention of RFC4033 was not
applied, but the DNSSEC acronym was instead expanded at the first mention.

Anyway, thank you for applying the fixes, I'll move on to sorting out my
notes, as promised earlier, and making my final questions / suggestions.
