Today I was trying to checkpoint VLC player using dmtcp as my application
is a plugin on VLC player. However, I encountered following issues with my
attempt:
1. While playing a video file in VLC through dmtcp_checkpoint command opens
up VLC as character ASCII in command prompt. VLC interface fails to open.
However, VLC works fine normally.
2. While playing an audio file through checkpoint, I encounter the
following error:

/usr/lib/vlc/lua/intf/cli.luac: lua/intf/modules/host.lua:279: Interrupted.
And VLC stops after this interruption.
Is there any way I can use DMTCP on VLC player? Is there any DMTCP plugin
available thorugh which this can be achieved.
