are you sure its strictly a bandwidth problem with usb itself. you cant increase the usb bandwidth as a whole, but unless you connect more devices, it should work as advertised. what exactly happens? what does cubase say? it might be a latency issue, so you may need to increase your latency settings in cubase. is the version of cubase you're using properly compatible with XP - older versions may not have been so you might need to get the latest version.
sorry i cant be more specific, but i dont have a laptop or cubase. i just dont think its a usb bandwidth issue as it sounds like it works normally. ph. ----- Original Message ----- From: "kev/entitee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2001 6:02 PM Subject: [dnb-prod] USB bandwidth - EMI 2|6 problems > What is a solution for USB Bandwidth problems? > I have a Toshiba Satellite S504 laptop with XP and > a EMI 2|6 audio USB interface connected to it. > The audio interface works until I attempt to use Cubase VST32 > That is when I get bandwidth trouble. > Will a powered hub fix this?
