it's a piece of piss. even a complete beginner could get a basic page made in about an hour i reckon. all depends how flashy you want it to be!!!
for html, you probably already have frontpage express which is basic but will do the job. dreamweaver is much nicer. yes, you can save wavs / aiffs / just about anything to mp3 / just about anything else using cool edit. mp3s are compatible with windows media player. there are tons of resources available to help u out, just do a google search for 'html tutorial' or something.... good luck, mattrick www.sequential-recordings.co.uk * ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Norman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2002 1:02 PM Subject: [dnb-prod] Posting Music on Web > Hi > > I might be getting Blue Yonder cable internet free at my house this year > (girlfriend works for Telewest as tech consultant, so free internet as a > bonus thing), in which case I would happily upload a bucket load of my > processed breaks to the net if it didn't take very long and also i will be > hopefully posting all my tunes there too so that i can get some feedback. > > How long does it take to knowck up a basic webpage to allow uploading of > music and what software do i need to do this. > I have Cool Edit Pro which I understand allows the conversion of Wav or Aiff > to MP3 - is this true? > Or how do i make sound files compatible with the Windows Media Player so > that more people can use the clips? > > Its something i think would be quite cool, but i haven't got a huge amount > of time to spend on it. > > Any advice? > Cheers > Dan --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
