I hhad the same problem, worked on a track for several hours with a sampled 
break that i put through recycle then into reason. I tweeked out all kinds 
of things and it was sounding good. Next I needed to fuck with a sample in 
soundforge, shut down reason then opened it back up and got the incompatable 
rex file and lost everything i had. never was able to get it back either. I 
tried to find a backup file but  reason doesnt make them, I was pissed and 
would also like to know if there is a solution cuz I want that track back. 
fuckfuckfuck reason.
