I've never used Nuendo full stop.. But a guy at work has been using it for years and is very happy with it.... I seem to remember his MIDI problems were hardware related, but as he's not here at the moment I can't ask him...
When he appears again I'll see if he has any ideas.. I like it *VERY MUCH* for audio.... But when using it for midi sequencing the timing is all over the place (and I mean not just a bit but really ALL over the place), even when using vst instruments. The midi sequencing is not as advanced as cubase, but probably enough for most people. I tend to make stuff in cubase, and when everything is more or less finished I record everything as audio and import the project file into Nuendo. Would be nicer if I could do everything in Nuendo, but there's really something totally fucked up with the midi timing. I also tried the same version of Nuendo on a pc at work that doesn't have any midi ports, but timing still sucked a lot. Might be a setting somewhere... any tips ?
