I've been throwing a drawmer 1960 over my drum track and bass line together. I find it does a great job...it somehow ''pulls together'' the two and make them sound very pleasant. If you listen to the first track on madonna's ray of light album, for an example....as soon as the drums come in, you can hear the effect of a tube compressor.... the warmth and the way the attack of the bass drum sounds. I'm not sure about throwing it over the whole track, cause it tends to make things also sound just a little dirty...great for drums and bass, not so sure on pretty pads and things..but thats my opinion anyway....Rob
