As I
said before, I can't really say that I've noticed any of these problems but that
could be because I route everything directly to the Hardware output and
then into seperate Cubase channels... Definately try it...
Nick
I
wonder if it makes any difference if you don't use Reason's mixer and instead
output all the instruments DIRECTLY into the Hardware Interface (or whatever
it's called). If you're using it as a virtual instrument from a sequence this
is a better way of working anyway, as you get a much better EQ and probably
the cleaner sound that you'd expect from a more expensive piece of software.
Might be worth doing some comparisons...
Milo
I mean exactly what you said at the start of
the sentence...people seem to agree so I guess it's not just me...now I
gotta figure out how to master my new tune without it sounding like a muddy
peice of crap! (and I spent bloody ages getting each individual sound right
to begin with...pah!)

shit
Haven't noticed it!
Do you mean that the more instruments you add the more the sound
becomes muddy or are you talking about the actual EQ effect
?
Is it just me, or does the eq in Reason
become instantly muddy, the more channels you add?

RmX (Truck Volume) Busta Rhymes! Check it!
If you want to do some "serious" remixing bizznizz,
try downloading some accapella's from Audiogalaxy and then build a
tune on top of that. There's plenty of RnB out there waiting to be
ripped :)
It's not as easy as it looks though, sometimes it's a
real bitch to find a good tempo to go with the
vocals.
