If you're looking at the 'all in one' route, you should seriously consider Sonic Syndicate's 'Orion'. Sort of like Reason, but massively cheaper, uses VST plug ins, and doesn't _seem_ to suffer from Reason's 'muddy' sound quality when you have a fair few things running.
