I think that Reasons unique "muddyness" automatically knocks it from the top spot ... Good prog other then that (xept the sequencer is crap, natch)...

If you're looking at the 'all in one' route, you should seriously consider
Sonic Syndicate's 'Orion'. Sort of like Reason, but massively cheaper, uses
VST plug ins, and doesn't _seem_ to suffer from Reason's 'muddy' sound
quality when you have a fair few things running.
