I'm REALLY happy with my behringer 1604A with 12 ins, 4 bus's. two stero aux-sends. pretty sweet, it's rack-mountable, but it works nicely as a desk unit. It doesn't look as crammed as some of the other mixers (mackies aren't bad about it) and the 1604's got the sliders instead of rotary pots..
