Theres the Future Retro 777 at $777.  Its kind of like based as a 303 clone, 
yet its way way more.  The anoyence of it is that the midi only controls 
only notes and stuff, no knob movements.  It does have 1/4 inch jacks for VC 
Gate input and stuff like that.  I use it for my bass sound, its very warm.  
Its the synth used in body rock.  Other draw back is that there is no 
polyphony, as in one note at a time.  The glide is sick though.  It does 
have a sick 16 step sequencer for bass lines.  I should be posting a track 
using it soon.

tip of the day:  program your sequences double time at 1/2 the rate get 32 
steps on a 16 step sequencer.
